Ledges State Park
Located about 15 miles west of Ames, Ledges State Park is a wonderful nature preserve which is open to the public from sunrise to sunset. About a 20-minute drive away are miles of hiking trails, camping areas, picknick areas, and awesome views of some of Iowa's natural splendor.
