Seven Oaks is about 20 miles west of Ames. This family-owned and operated outdoor recreation area is open year round with a variety of summer and winter sport options. In the winter they offer skiing, snowboarding and snow tubing. With warmer weather brings the opportunity for kayaking, canoeing, river tubing and paintball!
