Art at Iowa State
With over 2,000 works of public art, Iowa State campus is one of the best places to see some of the finest artwork in Iowa. Grant Wood's breath-taking murals, Christian Petersen's famous sculptures, and several historical landmarks are among the works. Two museums, the Brunnier Art Museum and the 19th Century Farm House Museum, are also located on campus.
Reiman Gardens
Located on a 14-acre site, Reiman Gardens is Iowa's largest public garden. It features distinct gardens, an indoor conservatory, hundreds of species of butterflies that thrive year-round, a gift shop, and a café. The conservatory complex is open year-round from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesdays through Sundays.
Iowa State Center
There is something for everyone at the Iowa State Center. Enjoy a world-class orchestra or a Broadway musical in Stephens Auditorium or Fisher Theater; watch Big 12 athletic competitions, as well as popular rock concerts in Hilton Coliseum and Jack Trice Stadium; or hold a business meeting or conference in the spacious Scheman Building.
Cyclone Athletics
Watch exciting Big 12 men's and women's competitions at Hilton Coliseum and Jack Trice Stadium. Hilton is home to some of the largest basketball crowds in the nation. For tickets contact the Jacobson Athletic building ticket office.
Research Park
The rapidly growing ISU Research Park is home to more the 50 companies. The park gives start-up and established companies the support needed to move technological discoveries from lab to marketplace.
Memorial Union
Centrally located on Iowa State campus, the Memorial Union is a popular gathering place. It features 51 guest rooms, a bookstore, food court, bowling alley and the Maintenance Shop night club. To make reservations, call (515) 292-1111.
